Croagh Patrick climb for charity fundraiser

Date Posted: 23.01.2019

Charity fundraiser event took place last year in aid of The Samaritans and Amber Womens Refuge. Both Forestry Services Ltd and Euroforest Ireland Ltd staff climbed Crough Patrick on a blustery Saturday morning in September. Crough Patrick has an elevation of  764m and is the highest peak in Mayo, the beautiful scenery and great company made the climb possible in  under 1.5 hrs. Thanks to all who kindly donated money, we are delighted to say we have Raising €2673 in total.... well done to all, well worth the effort and sore legs!

As a dairy farmer, I had little interest in forestry until I purchased land with milk quota in the mid-1990s. Both the milk quota and the forestry have proven good investments. I engaged Forestry Services Ltd to secure the necessary felling licences
